The Inclusion Summit returns for a fifth year!
March is an important time in our calendar at WiHTL & DiR as we come together to celebrate International Women's Day on Sunday 8 March, recognise Mother's Day on Sunday 15 March and mark Women's History Month throughout March.
Across the month, we will be highlighting the achievements of women across the Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Retail sectors while continuing the conversation about how our industry can accelerate progress toward gender equity. This year’s International Women's Day theme, ‘Give to Gain’, reminds us that progress is built through shared support, advocacy and opportunity. Alongside this, Women's History Month is celebrated under the theme ‘Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future’, recognising the women whose leadership is helping drive positive and lasting change across business and society.
In celebration we will be sharing new insights, celebrating inspiring leaders and creating spaces for conversation and learning throughout March. Our Women to Watch in Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Retail Index 2026 launches on Wednesday 11 March, recognising senior women leaders and the impact they are making across our sectors, while showcasing the breadth of roles and career paths available. Later in the month, we will publish our latest Working Women Survey report, offering fresh insight into women’s career experiences and the factors shaping progression in our industry.
