The Inclusion Summit returns for a fifth year!
We are delighted to announce that our chosen charity for 2026 is Team Domenica, an incredible organisation dedicated to empowering young people with learning disabilities.
Team Domenica provides employment programmes to support these young individuals, referred to as ‘candidates’ to reflect their readiness for paid work.
With their pioneering programmes, Team Domenica helps candidates as they transition from education to paid work, equipping them with the skills, confidence and independence they need to gain meaningful employment and thrive in life. They build their young people’s skills in their training centre and cafés, and partner with local businesses to provide accessible work experience, internships and job opportunities.
At the heart of Team Domenica's success is their three-tier operation:

Training Centre
Equipping candidates with essential skills and practical experience
Training Cafés (Café Domenica)
Providing real-world opportunities to practise and refine these skills
Employment opportunities
Connecting candidates with meaningful job opportunities
The results speak for themselves, with an inspiring 80% of candidates gaining paid work through these programmes. Yet the impact of their work goes far beyond numbers, Team Domenica is transforming lives, bringing hope and joy to candidates, their families, and the wider community.
We were proud to first partner with Team Domenica at our 2024 Inclusion Summit and to continue supporting their mission today. Their vision aligns closely with our own commitment to creating more inclusive workplaces and communities.
Together, we are making a meaningful impact by championing inclusion, opportunity, and the value that every individual brings.

“Inclusion is about recognising potential where others may overlook it. Team Domenica helps businesses do exactly that, and the result is stronger organisations, stronger communities and better opportunities for everyone.”

"WiHTL & DiR is an extraordinary partner to Team Domenica. Their support goes far beyond fundraising. It reflects a shared belief that young people with learning disabilities and autism deserve the opportunity to develop their talents, build their confidence and find meaningful employment. Through their network, 23 of our candidates have already secured work experience, internships and paid employment with leading employers, while their Collaboration Community has contributed more than £137,000 towards our new training centre at Pavilion Buildings. We are proud and privileged to be WiHTL’s chosen charity for 2026 and excited about everything we will achieve together.”
